BFJ’s Super Service Challenge

Bread for the Journey wants to share it’s $1,000 win from the Super Service Challenge Award!

See below to enter for your chance to win one of the two $500 matching grants.

The Super Service Challenge is a nationwide initiative that encourages and rewards volunteers who come together to be of service and have an impact in their communities   Projects supporting non-profits that took place between September 1st and November 20th, 2013 were eligible to enter the Super Service Challenge Award Contest.  Over 2,000 teams came out in 42 states, to be of service culminating in over 180,000 hours of service.  $1,000,000 in prize money was shared with over 400 non-profits.

Board Member Wendi Gilbert and Liza Leeds, our Marketing and Website manager, produced the video that highlighted several service projects from local chapters. Check out the video.

How to Enter for a Chance to win the BFJ Matching Grant Award:

Any grants given between May 1 and June 30, 2014 are eligible to win a matching grant. You can submit as many entries that fall into that time frame. Send us a brief story and photo of your grantee/or grantees to SierraATbreadforthejourney.org. BFJ Central will issue two $500 matching grants to the projects we feel best exemplify the spirit behind BFJ and sustainable community impact.
